Step-by-Step Instructions for Best Ever Meatloaf
  1. Preheat your grill to a steady 350°F.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté diced onions and minced garlic for 5–7 minutes until translucent.
  3. Mix bread pieces with milk in a bowl. Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions and garlic, milk-breadcrumb mixture, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, steak rub, and kosher salt. Mix gently.
  5. Shape the mixture into a rectangular loaf about 2 inches thick and place on a grill-safe pan.
  6. Place the meatloaf on the grill on indirect heat and cook for approximately 30 minutes.
  7. Brush the top of the meatloaf with additional BBQ sauce and continue grilling until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Remove the meatloaf from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
