  • 8 ounces short pasta such as penne or rotini
For the Beef Mixture
  • 1 pound ground beef cooked crumbled hamburger patties can be used
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil any cooking oil can work
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder fresh onions can also be substituted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder fresh garlic can be used as alternative
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika regular paprika can work in a pinch

For the Creamy Sauce
  • 15 ounces Alfredo sauce homemade for extra richness
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese optional
For the Toppings
  • 4 slices bacon turkey bacon can be substituted
  • 1/2 cup pickles diced
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced or shredded lettuce optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to beef, stirring for about 2 minutes to combine flavors.
  4. Lower heat to medium-low and stir in the Alfredo sauce. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Add the drained pasta, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese to the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from heat and top with crumbled bacon and diced pickles. Optionally add tomatoes or lettuce. Serve while warm.
