- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar, milk, ketchup, onion, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Transfer mixture to the greased dish, shaping it as a loaf or pressing evenly for casserole.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 155°F-160°F.
- Once cooked, remove from oven and sprinkle with additional cheese, then bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
