  • 0.5 cup More Pasta Sauce spread it over before the final bake

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients while the oven heats up.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, and spices including salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add fresh basil, parsley, pasta sauce, mozzarella, and egg, mixing well.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and shape the meat mixture into an 8-inch loaf. Place it on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatloaf for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. A meat thermometer should read 160°F.
  5. Spread the remaining pasta sauce and mozzarella over the meatloaf after the initial baking.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
