Preparation Steps

  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chopped thick-cut bacon, sautéing until crispy and golden, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in diced onion, then sliced potatoes and fresh dill, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  3. Pour the potato mixture into the prepared crust. Drizzle about 1 cup of heavy cream over the top.
  4. Bake for 35-45 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the potatoes are fork-tender.
