Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the shrimp by rinsing under cold water, shelling, and deveining while keeping the tails on. Place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Marinate the shrimp with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and zest, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare your baking sheet.
  4. In a shallow bowl, add breadcrumbs with additional salt and pepper if needed. Shake off excess marinade and dredge each shrimp in breadcrumbs.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment and arrange shrimp in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 4-5 minutes or until shrimp are opaque and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with fresh lemon juice to enhance Mediterranean flavors.
