Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by cutting the beef chuck roast into bite-sized chunks, about 1-2 inches, and place them in the crock pot. Dice one medium onion and mince 2-3 garlic cloves, adding them to the pot as well.
- Pour in 4 cups of beef broth and add 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and salt to taste. Stir gently to combine.
- Cover the crock pot with its lid and set it to cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
- Carefully remove the lid and shred the beef right in the crock pot using two forks.
- About 30-40 minutes before serving, stir in 8 ounces of egg noodles, covering to allow the noodles to cook.
- Cook the noodles on high for an additional 15-20 minutes, checking them for doneness after 15 minutes.
- Serve the Crock Pot Beef & Noodles hot straight from the pot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
