Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, melt ½ cup of unsalted butter and combine it with ¼ cup of vegetable oil. Whisk in 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in 1 ½ cups of mashed ripe bananas into the wet mixture.
  5. Slowly stir in the dry ingredient mixture until there are no more flour pockets; do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips into the batter.
