- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until pudding-like. Aim for about 1 to 1.5 cups.
- Combine the melted butter, egg, sugars, vanilla, and Greek yogurt with the bananas. Whisk until smooth.
- Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt together. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients, folding gently.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean or with a few crumbs.
