Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until pudding-like. Aim for about 1 to 1.5 cups.
  3. Combine the melted butter, egg, sugars, vanilla, and Greek yogurt with the bananas. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt together. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients, folding gently.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean or with a few crumbs.
