Preparation
- Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Layer half of the diced everything bagels, then half of the cooked bacon, half of the Gruyere cheese, and dollops of cream cheese in the baking dish.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
- Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients and press down gently.
- Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Remove from the refrigerator and uncover.
- Bake covered with foil for 40 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then garnish with fresh chives.
