Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Stir in dried red chili flakes and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Add the tomato paste and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  5. Incorporate chopped large tomatoes and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until softened.
  6. Mix in halved cherry tomatoes, cover skillet and cook for another 10-12 minutes.
  7. Fold in cooked white beans and chopped spinach. Cook for 5-7 minutes until spinach wilts.
  8. Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading evenly.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  10. Cover casserole with foil and bake for about 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot.
