- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the meat mixture into four portions and shape each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick, making a small indent in the center.
- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook the patties for 6 minutes, then carefully flip each and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- If desired, add a slice of cheese during the last minute of cooking.
- Remove patties from the air fryer, let them rest for a minute, and serve on buns with toppings.
