  • 1 cup Colby Jack Cheese Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or mozzarella can be substituted.

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Hamburger Hash
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add ground beef, red and green bell peppers, and onion. Cook for 8-10 minutes until browned and vegetables are tender.
  2. Stir in diced potatoes and add garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add beef broth to the skillet, stir, and bring to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once the potatoes are fork-tender, sprinkle grated Colby Jack cheese over the top. Cover off heat and let sit until cheese melts.
