  • 1/4 cup Honey Maple syrup for vegan
  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Grated Ginger Fresh yields best flavor

For the Chicken
  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil Sesame oil for extra flavor
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast Can substitute with shrimp, beef, or tofu
For the Noodles and Garnish
  • 8 oz Noodles (Rice or Egg)
  • 2 scallions Green Onions Chopped for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds Optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Prepare the Sauce by combining soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes in a bowl, then whisk until smooth.
  2. Coat the Chicken by cutting chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and tossing in cornstarch until fully coated.
  3. Cook the Chicken in a skillet with hot vegetable oil for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Add the Sauce to the chicken in the skillet and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Cook the Noodles in boiling water per package instructions, then drain.
  6. Combine Everything by adding the noodles to the skillet with the chicken and sauce, tossing gently.
  7. Garnish and Serve with chopped green onions and sesame seeds; enjoy hot.
