For the Quesadillas
  • 4 pcs Tortillas Use whole wheat for a healthier option.
  • 2 cups Apples Core and chop; can also use apple pie filling.
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar Can reduce based on preference.
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon Feel free to experiment with other spices.
  • 1-2 tbsp Unsalted Butter Optional, use non-stick spray for a lighter option.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soften the Cream Cheese by taking it out of the fridge for about 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Tortillas by laying them flat and spreading a layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side of each.
  3. Mix the Apple Filling by chopping apples, adding brown sugar and cinnamon, and mix until coated.
  4. Assemble the Quesadillas by spooning apple mixture onto half of each tortilla and folding them.
  5. Heat the Skillet and melt butter. Add quesadillas, cooking in batches if needed.
  6. Cook the Quesadillas for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Slice and Serve the quesadillas, best enjoyed with powdered sugar or caramel drizzle.
